Children's Work

At our main 10.30 worship service we offer groups for children from 0-14. 

All groups comply with the diocesan policy on the care & protection of children.

Tiny Tots (ages 0-1)

This creche group is there for 0-1s during our 10.30 service.  Children can be registered from 10.30 and are collected after the service.

A playroom with suitable toys is available along with volunteer helpers to take care of your children.

Fun tots is co-ordinated by Sally Huntington

Sparklers (ages 2 & 3)

Sparklers aims to teach the children simple Bible concepts in a playgroup style using songs, story telling and crafts to support a simple theme.
So it bridges the gap between the free play of Tiny Tots and the slightly more structured Light group.
The children are encouraged to join in the activities but toys for free play are available if they choose.
Parents bring their children up to the sparklers room and sign them in and  then during the last hymn or just before communion they come back upstairs to collect and sign out their child.
Parents can if they wish stay for some or all of the session when their child is settling in and as with all the children's groups a member of the team would come and find them if their child became upset.
Sparklers is a happy active place and for more information about what we do please contact the leader.

Light (ages 4-7)

Themed teaching and fun games & activities for this age group makes up the Sunday morning sessions in Light.  The group begins once children are dismissed from the main service.

Twig (ages 8-11)

Themed teaching and fun games & activities for this age group makes up the Sunday morning sessions in Twig.  The group begins once children are dismissed from the main service.

Smart (ages 11-13)

In addition we have a Fun Tots group which meets on Tuesday mornings in CC2 (Church centre) from 9.30 - 12.  Contact church centre for more details.
